Our success is directly attributable to the dedication of our year-round and seasonal employees. Without their hard work and care for the product that they are providing, we would not have be able to achieve what we have today.
Broetje Orchards and its affiliates employ over 1,100 year-round staff, spanning the professions of pickers, pruners, teachers, housing managers, early education specialists, athletic directors, store managers, and more.
For Broetje Orchards and its affiliate organizations, support to our staff comes in many forms, whether by providing affordable rental housing, home ownership opportunities, affordable childcare, on-site private elementary education, continuing education scholarships, post-secondary scholarships for youth of Broetje Orchard employees, professional development and training, etc.
Our belief is that each individual in the world has a God-given purpose and gifts to share, but that many times they lack the opportunity to discover and employ those gifts. Beyond our outreach and the employee opportunities listed above, we offer staff a chance to explore their potential, whether by pursuing a new career via scholarships, by taking advantage of leadership-training opportunities on Boards of Directors or various Committees (e.g. Cherry Crop Committees), or by exploring our Servant Leadership programming and more.
